Darewise Entertainment, part of Animoca Brands and the creative force behind Life Beyond, has unveiled a new alliance. They’ve partnered with DFZ Labs, famed for their Web3 brand Deadfellaz. This collaboration aims to boost the growth of both companies by combining their expertise in Web3 and expanding their respective gaming communities.
DFZ Labs
Established in 2021, DFZ Labs focuses on digital identity, creator empowerment, and the adoption of emerging technologies. Their portfolio includes popular titles such as Deadfellaz, DFZ Gaming, and an upcoming trading card game currently known as “RIP TCG”.
Under this partnership, the Deadfellaz avatars and content will be utilized to promote various aspects of Life Beyond. This involves the highly anticipated BOTS game and the Alpha and Beta versions of Life Beyond, scheduled for release in Q2 and Q4 of 2024, respectively.
The Deadfellaz community, also known as the “Horde,” engages in streaming and content creation. They use animated avatars called Streamingfellaz, created by Hologram Labs, to showcase gameplay from traditional (Web2) and blockchain-based (Web3) games on platforms like Twitch and YouTube.
Betty, CEO of DFZ Labs (Deadfellaz), said: “Collaboration is one of the foundational cornerstones of Web3, and it is a huge honor to envision something new and build it alongside such visionary peers as Darewise and Animoca Brands.”
In celebration of this partnership, Darewise has acquired three Deadfellaz PFP NFTs and 50 packs of NFTs from the upcoming Deadfellaz Trading Card Game. Moreover, they will use these NFTs for community events and competitions, bringing an interactive and exciting element to the collaboration.
