Let’s face it: The NFT space moves really fast. Considering how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFTs might as well be a month IRL.

Don’t get us wrong — the more people onboarded into the space, the merrier. But because of the constant influx of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches, and general happenings.

Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you, as we’ll be coming up with a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops you definitely don’t want to miss.

Cool Pets

What: 20,000 avatar collectibles

Why: Blue Chip project Cool Cats will be launching its companion NFT series Cool Pets on Jan. 31. With 10,000 reserved for Cool Cats holders and 10,000 to be put on public sale, this is the largest expansion effort we’ve seen from Cool Cats to date and will surely onboard thousands of new members into the Cool Cats community.

Why: Marina Picasso, granddaughter of Pablo Picasso, and her son Florian Picasso are to release a multimedia collection of 1,010 NFTs. The collection will depict one of Pablo Picasso’s never before seen ceramic works and feature Florian‘s new song “Tomorrow” featuring John Legend and Nas.

The Rebirth Colelction

Although the collection mechanics are still yet to be announced, the drop will undoubtedly feature a new set of generative works created from Sophia’s sophisticated software.

Why: Snuffy is a luminary tattoo artist based in New York City who has continued to churn out a wide variety of impressive NFTs over the past year. Having just come off his monumental Snuffy 500 drop, Snuffy will release his third drop on Nifty Gateway, implementing color for the first time in a series of unique, animated 3D NFTs.
