The Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix will feature a ground-breaking NFT art exhibition, with 57 dynamically generated NFTs emerging from kinetic energy released from the race.
The unique NFT collection, to be held at the Kinetica: The Crypto.com NFT gallery will produce one-of-a-kind visual expressions from the race on May 8th, 2022.
In turn, these expressions of Formula 1 art will be minted as NFTs, so fans can immortalize the inaugural Formula 1 race in Miami.
Kris Marszalek, Co-Founder and CEO of Crypto.com said: “Providing unique and innovative ways to engage with Web3 technology is core to what we do at Crypto.com.”
“Our activation at the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix is truly groundbreaking in bringing the technology, engineering, and experience of the race to life by creating unique NFTs from data and energy sources in real-time.”
“We are so excited to give fans and NFT enthusiasts the opportunity to win a most unique piece of art, sport, and technology history.”
Data from sensors placed along the track will be blended with Formula 1 race data to create the unique, generative art, which will be minted as NFTs live on race day.
Moreover, every successful submission, both onsite and offsite, will receive a commemorative NFT, with the window for submissions closing on Monday, May 8th, at 11:59 pm EDT. All NFTs minted during the race will be awarded within a week following the race.
In addition to the remarkable NFT collection, the gallery will also host eight original pieces of art by local artists.
Each of the eight pieces will represent individual sections of the Formula 1 race track, which were allocated to the artists, and will form the artistic track outline.
Fans attending the race can visit the gallery through the entire race weekend from May 6th to May 8th, 2022.
