NFT REVIEW NEWS Lotus Set to Launch an Inaugural NFT Collection

British car manufacturer Lotus is partnering with Web3 firms Ripple and NFT PRO to launch itself into the world of NFTs. Here, the former will provide technical support with regards to minting the digital assets on the ultra-fast, low-cost and carbon-neutral XRP Ledger (XRPL) blockchain, whilst the latter will serve as the non-fungible brains behind the assets’ content.

Titled the ’01L Collection,’ the project will launch in multiple phases, with the first being the release of an inaugural collection of rare Lotus NFTs. The collection features five different assets, with each being a dynamic and animated depiction of the Lotus badge with a different coloured background. Each of the designs have been curated by the car company’s in-house design team, to ensure that the pioneering spirit of Lotus is fully captured in each NFT.

Those who collect all five of the assets will unlock a unique experience and a specially designed car for the metaverse. The company has also prompted community members to lookout for possible surprises that could open up even more exclusive experiences with Lotus.

For now, the price of the assets remains TBA, as does the the specific launch date of the collection, which should take place some time in summer 2022.
