NFT REVIEW NEWS Fashionista Pandas Hit the Blockchain in the Domingo X Sita NFT Project

World-renowned Spanish artist Domingo Zapata has teamed up with fashion icon-come-techno DJ Sita Abellan, to launch an NFT collection centred around his iconic panda bear designs. In doing so, the neo-expressionist artist, who has also been coined as the ‘Andy Warhol of this generation,’ will not only be inaugurating himself into the metaverse, but also one of the most popular and widely-applied design concepts of the 21st century. 

Panda NFTs

Created in partnership with Scaff Design, the Domingo X Sita collection will consist of 8,888 NFT versions of Zapata’s iconic 3D pandas, each sporting a vibrant and unique assortment of styles, accessories, and personalities. 

To add a touch of her personality, attitude, and flamboyancy, Abellan has personally hand-styled 50 of the pandas, and has also invited 50 A-list friends such as J Balvin and Anitta to manifest their creative flairs onto a panda each.

The Mint 

The collection is expected to launch via a blind mint on a TBA date in June 2022, with all relevant information available on the Domingo X Sita website soon.

Roadmap

The Domingo X Sita project will continue long after the mint date, starting with the NFT reveal happening one week after, which will then be followed by the launch of 88 NFT Cards designed by Zapata four weeks later, and eight NFT Videos using animated ‘Print in Acrylics’ a few weeks later.

Further down the line, a series of eight coffee table books with all 50 of Abellan’s Panda designs will be released, as well as a secret drop and two custom painted NFTs by Zapata.

Fans will also be able to meet the duo at Miami Art Basil in December 2022, and can also expect an array of surprises in 2023 and beyond.
