Genopets received funds to continue the development as there are 250,000 people on their waitlist.
Samsung Next announced its investment plans last week. The money GenoPets received came from the $8.3 million raised the previous October by Konvoy Ventures and Pantera Capital.
Genopets is the world’s first move-to-earn NFT Game. Genesis Genopets are a playable collection of 3,333 limited-edition, pre-evolved Stage 4 Genopets and the only ones that will ever exist with a Genesis marking.
The game will include the ability to buy virtual land, Habitat NFTs, that unlock advanced gameplay and, of course, can be bought and sold.
