MetaSoccer players can now earn rewards from the single-player mode. If you own any players make sure to try out the game and bring back home some tokens.
The football game announced also a few days ago the addition of a new personal attribute called player condition that indicates the physical status of each individual player.
A Realistic Addition
Player Condition is one of the most critical attributes in real-life soccer. If any player has no stamina, he probably won’t have a successful career as physicality is crucial inside the pitch.
Player Condition Explained
Each player will have a personal attribute called player condition from now on. The player’s Condition will mimic the physicality and stamina attributes in real-life soccer and won’t let players participate in unlimited matches throughout the day.
At the start of the day, all players will have a player condition of 100, meaning a full bar. The rules:
- For every match they play, they lose 20 player condition points.
- Five matches per day.
- Twenty-four hours to fully refill.
Besides the Condition bar, you will see an icon showing how exhausted your players are. In this first iteration of Condition, a red heart means your player will perform worse if tired (Condition between 24% and 20%). If players are exhausted (between 19% and 0%) they will not be able to begin a match.
Any player with conditions equal to or over 25 will perform at full capacity. This happens to prepare for new features that will be slowly introduced. In the future, all levels of Condition will impact the game.
Next developments will include the addition of the following:
- Injuries: Using tired players will increase the probability of an injury. It will also be possible to select exhausted players at your own risk.
- Fitness: The performance of players in the match will be highly correlated to their conditions and fitness.
- Substitutions: Being able to change players during the matches, you’ll have more options to keep your players’ conditions at optimal levels.
MetaSoccer is the first metaverse soccer game where players can play with new players, find new players and train them, own their Metaverse stadiums as NFTs and play their soccer matches there.
They also have the option to manage their club. Not only that, but they can also make an income while they play.
