NFT REVIEW NEWS Nouns DAO and Atrium Dazzle with Movie Episode

After announcing grand plans to launch an animated feature film back in March, Nouns DAO and Atrium have reached their first major milestone. On June 21, the ingenious duo launched a brand-spanking-new episode of their animated comedy, ‘The Rise of Blus: A Nouns Movie.’

Directed by ex-animators from pioneering institutions like Marvel, Pixar, and Netflix, the movie also includes a generous budget of $2.75 million courtesy of Nouns DAO. The capital is delivered in payment phases as the series progresses, however, following the success of the first episode going live, it’s clear this isn’t a drawback — the filmmakers put their money where their mouth is! 

Animation Insights and Film Progress

Part one of ‘The Rise of Blus: A Nouns Movie’, is set in a vibrant city of clouds named Blus, with the plot following a thirteen-year-old ‘Noun’ uncovering a conspiracy by the city’s aristocrats to dominate its people. Along with a group of allies, the central figure starts a crusade to rescue their nearest and dearest from being enslaved. 

The masterminds behind the plot are geographically scattered but share the same passion — a desire to be the first of their kind to create an enticing NFT-featured movie with the financial backing of a DAO! Famous faces behind the crew (Atrium’s William Yu, HKJay, Zen Doubt, 3DPrint Guy, and Meta Ent) quickly accelerated the remote process, and deserve a pat on the back for their speedy turnaround.  

The success of this initiative has inspired Nouns DAO to partake in another creative venture, namely a comic book compilation with Titan Comics and the NFT community, Comics DAO. In addition to participating in a second ArtBall NFT collection in partnership with OnCyber, Vayner Sports Pass, and the Australian Open tennis tournament.

As more imaginative pursuits surface, this movie featuring Nouns NFTs can inspire others seeking to utilize Web3 technologies with blockchain-based funding models for innovative artistic ventures.
