NFT REVIEW NEWS Lowe’s Brings mfers NFTs to the Backyard

Reputable home improvement titan, Lowe’s, is flying high with 1,000 tangible garden flags embedded with mfers NFTs, a celebrated collection with artwork available through the Creative Commons CC0 license.

The CC0 permit, seized upon the entrepreneurs Matthew Varnell and Stephen Thompson, enables collectors to utilize mfers’ characters commercially. Moreover, the duo has created a new enterprise called ‘Total Marketing Web3’ (TM3) to integrate NFT narratives with real-world merchandise.

Collaborating with Lowe’s pre-established alliance with Evergreen, TM3’s kickoff proposal, ‘Evergreen Siezenals’, consists of garden flags scaling 1 – 1.5 feet. The ‘seizen #1/edition #1’ flags displaying the words ‘cc0 summer 2023’ above two mfers characters cost $39,98. Each tangible products act as a gateway to mfers NFTs.

Intricacies of mfers NFTs

mfers NFTs were launched in 2021 by the anonymous artist Sartoshi. The assets are best known for their eccentric hand-drawn characters that draw inspiration from the meme “Are ya winning, son?”

Despite the project initially not presenting any practical use or long-term plans, the meme NFTs amassed a loyal collector community, fetching prices of more than $1,000 apiece — a notable rise from its initial minting cost of around $320 (0.069 ETH). Consequently, the project has accumulated nearly $125 million OpenSea sales.

The idea behind Lowe’s mfers NFTs incorporated into physical flags stemmed following traditional industries showing high interest in the Web3 realm to resonate with younger demographics. In the future, TM3 aims to boost its portfolio by partnering with other CC0 NFT projects to craft various seasonal items to innovate traditional marketing models and forge a bond between retailers, manufacturers, and consumers through blockchain technology.
